The Fourfold Garden

£20.00

Archival art print · 30 × 30 cm

This piece is composed as a four-part floral study, drawing on Mughal manuscript traditions where nature is observed, ordered, and given space to breathe. Each panel presents a single flowering stem against a richly toned ground — saffron, rose, olive, and deep maroon — creating a balanced rhythm of colour and form.

The surrounding border echoes illuminated margins found in historic South Asian and Persian works, framing the florals with quiet ornament rather than excess. The result is a piece that feels both decorative and contemplative: structured, gentle, and grounded in visual memory.

Framing & display

This artwork is a 30 × 30 cm print.

  • Best overall: a 40 × 40 cm frame with a white mount (30 × 30 cm aperture) for a balanced, gallery-style finish that allows the artwork and border to breathe.
  • Minimal option: a 30 × 30 cm frame with no mount for a clean, contemporary look.

Antique-style gold frames, dark wood, or slim black frames all complement the piece beautifully.
